Basic Info
Name:Freyjadour, Prince of Falena
Birthdate:02-25
Bio
Name: Prince Freyjadour "Frey" Falenas
Star Position: Tenkai
Game(s): Suikoden V
Age and Birthday: 16, February 25th
Appearance: For a Prince, Freyjadour does not cut much of an intimidating figure; rather, he's actually quite short for a young man of his age. Freyjadour seems to have inherited more of his looks from the Queen's of the family: his silver hair, worn long and in a braid, certainly comes from this mother, as does his rather effeminate, willowy build. He has pale blue eyes and wears the bright, warm colors typical to Falena. He has one talon earring, just like his late father's, in his left ear.
Personality: Freyjadour is a very mild-mannered young man. It likely comes with upbringing, but the prince carries a rather regal air about him, but perhaps due to his Father's influence, he will just as easily shrug off protocol in the name of good humor. Due to the fact he flusters so easily he is a favorite target of teasing for his friends and family, but ultimately all of this is taken in good humor. He has an extraordinarily long fuse, though, and it takes a real crisis to rile any genuine anger. Prior to Falena's civil war he was shy and self-effacing, but since being foisted into a position of power he has gained a quiet confidence.
Weapons: Sun Nunchaku- which, despite its name, is actually a three-section staff.
Skils/Special Abilities: Very skilled with the use of his three-section staff due to extensive training from a young age. He possesses a surprising fortitude for someone so waifish, and is a shockingly tenacious fighter. Trained in diplomacy by his mother, he has often acted as envoy on behalf of the Queen in the past and present; first for his mother and then for his sister.
Other Abilities: He has a strong poker face, and maintains a stiff upper lip (in public company) in times of stress.
Runes: Dawn Rune, right hand.
Weaknesses: Although he has become stronger in his ordeal, Frey still assumes too much blame for himself and lacks a lot of self-confidence.

History:
Being a prince in the Queendom of Falena is about the most useless political position one may hold in a developed kingdom. With absolutely no claim to the throne, a prince exists only as a potential means to expand the kingdom through marriage. Prince Freyjadour quietly accepted his fate as soon as he was old enough to understand the whispers of courtiers, and despite his somewhat unconventional parents and their attempts to instill confidence, he still bowed down. Despite his political futility, though, he was happy with his parents, his younger syster, Lymsleia and his friend and bodyguard, Lyon.

The coming of Lymsleia's "Sacred Games" and her subsequent betrothal to Gizel Godwin threw his entire life off balance. Following their ill-gotten gains, the Godwin faction staged a coup and arranged for the assassination of the royal family to foist Gizel into his newly "earned" position of power. Barely escaping the attack with his life, Frey fled the castle with a few loyal to the Queen, including Lyon and his aunt Sialeeds.

The small band of refugees lived on the run until their time in hiding among the Barrows estate revealed that there was more than one plot against the throne: the Barrows had been hiding the Dawn Rune, an off-set rune of the Sun Rune, in an attempt to gain power. The Dawn Rune instead chose Frey as its bearer, and Prince parted company with the Barrows, who, with the exception of Luserina, were accused of high treason.

This monumental discovery soon became something of an emblem for the Prince's cause in the brewing Civil War; with the Dawn Rune on his side, it seemed almost as if divine providence guided his cause. Indeed, the time to run had long since passed, and it was time for Frey to fight the Godwins and regain his family's honor. Throughout the conflict, Freyjadour lost many friends, family and allies, but emerged stronger for it and as his army grew, his forces took back the cities conquered by the Godwins and upset the power back in the royal family's favor. Even with Lymsleia instituted as a true monarch instead of a puppet figure for the Godwin family, it became apparent through the war that the Queendom sorely needed to reform itself, and many of its previous practices were abolished, such as the Sacred Games. In the reforming Freyjadour was instituted as the new Commander of the Queen's Knights, although the position was not accepted without great humility.

In an unfortunate incident with a cracked blinking mirror, though, has blinked the Prince to Budehuc's mirror 26 years in the future instead of the one placed in his headquarters. Although he feels confused and displaced, it is comforting that so many of his comrades are already around him.
